The congress counter will be divided intho the following sections:
On-Site-Registration
Here, participants can register on-site. On-site-registration will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to pre-registered delegates. Depending on the number of registrations on-site, availability of congress bags may be limited.
Pre-Registration
Participants who have already registered for the congress in advance will receive their documents here.
Assistance for the reservation of hotel rooms or tours in Milan will be provided.
The Final Programme will be published on this website in April 2013. Abstracts will be published in an abstract book and on this side from the first congress day. Participants will receive a copy of the Final Programme and abstract book along with the congress documentation.
The Congress will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to any individual requesting one. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the Congress to provide any financial support. Letters of invitation may be requested from the Congress office. Letters of invitation may be requested from the congress office no later than 6 May 2013. Please note that you have to pay the congress fee in advance in order to receive an invitation letter. Should the delegate do not receive the visa; the registration fee can be claimed back. The letters will be sent by regular air mail. In case an express delivery is needed, the delegate shall order a courier at his / her expense.

The entry formalities for Italy vary according to the country of origin. Please address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to your travel agent or the local consulate.
A technical exhibition of pharmacological products, technical equipment and scientific literature will be held in one of the halls next to the main meeting rooms of the Milano Convention Centre. Interested exhibitors are asked to request exhibition material from the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE.
A major poster exhibition will be organized in the Exhibition Hall b at the Milano Convention Centre. Coffee bars will be located in the vicinity of the technical exhibition. Potential exhibitors can request exhibition information from the Exhibition office CPO HANSER SERVICE.
Please notice that the congress fee does not include insurance. All participants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is strongly recommended and will need to be purchased in the country of origin.
Milan offers a typically continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. In spring and fall temperatures are very pleasant. At the beginning of June, the average temperature is between 15°C (59°F) and 26°C (79°F). The average precipitation is 7 days/month in June.
Milan is easily accessible by airplane, railroad and car.
Congress participants arriving at the two airports, Milan-Malpensa or Milan-Linate, can reach the city centre or the Convention Centre easily. Both airports are linked to the public transportation system.
Milan can also be reached by train. The main station is Milano Centrale, which is found very close to the city center. From here trains leave for all parts of Italy as well as for all international connections to France, Switzerland and Germany.
Milan has the biggest Italian highway system connecting Milan with all major Italian and European cities.
There are metro, bus and tram stations near the Gattamelata entrance of the Convention Centre. Milan´s metro system will take you there from any part of the city.

Malpensa
The “MALPENSA EXPRESS” train service will take you directly from the airport to the centre of Milan in 40 minutes, arriving at the Ferrovie Nord “Cadorna” station.
Here take the Red Metro Line 1 (Rho Fiera Milano direction): get off at the “Cadorna” stop, exit the subway and go to the railroad station above: take the first train departing and get off at the “Domodossola” stop – just 600 m from Centro Congressi.
