This month the World Federation of ADHD wants to highlight the following paper from Artigas et al.
By using a genome-wide association study summary statistics, the authors aimed to clarify the causal relationship between ADHD and a comprehensive range of related traits. This resulted in strengthening previous evidence of causal effects of ADHD liability on smoking and major depression, which is consistent with a causal effect on odds of decreased average total household income.
