The 2nd Portuguese National Congress of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) organized by SPDA - Portuguese Society of Attention Deficit in partnership with the Department of Psychology of Education and Special Education of the Institute of Education of the University of Minho, offers participants and sponsors an event dedicated to ADHD that brings together the latest scientific knowledge with opportunities for sharing and learning.

We aim to maintain the excellence and reputation earned by the symposiums organized over the past few years and the 1st Portuguese National ADHD Congress which has confirmed itself as the largest national event in this area, in Portugal.

We continue to count on the participation of professionals from all over the country and four international keynote speakers.

For next October 10th and 11th, we’ve prepared thematic tables that will address current problems and solutions. As international speakers Professor Alessandro Zuddas, from the University of Cagliari, Italy, Professor Maria Conceição do Rosário from the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil and Professor David Lorenzo Morillas Fernández and Professor Alberto Pintado Alcázar, both from the penal and criminal area, Law School of University of Murcia, Spain. We also have the presentation of free communications, poster communications exhibition and workshops that will contribute to a more complete sharing of experiences.

Topics will cover ADHD across the lifespan, from preschoolers to adulthood, as well as different aspects of research and clinical practice, like diagnosis, assessment, non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic treatment.

In 2018, more than 420 professionals from around the country were gathered around the ADHD.
